Penistone East By-Election: Thursday 20 August
On Thursday 20 August, residents living across the villages, hamlets and rural areas of Penistone East Ward will be heading to the polls.
We have selected Steven Burkinshaw as our candidate in this coming by-election, and he is spending the coming weeks working hard talking to voters and making sure they know what his plan for Penistone East Ward is, to make it an even better place to live, work and raise a family.
Here's what residents of Penistone East need to know:
- Tues 04 August, midnight: deadline to register to vote
- Weds 05 August, 5.00pm: deadline to apply for a postal vote
- Weds 12 August, 5.00pm: deadline to apply for a proxy vote
- Thurs 20 August: polls open 7.00am to 10.00pm
- Don't forget you photo ID
