Join us for one of our regular Campaign Sessions on Saturday 11 December between 10.00am and midday. This will involve a combination of leaflet delivery and doorstep canvassing.
Come and join the campaign team at our Penistone Office on 6 December when we will be running a phone-in session. This provides an opportunity to learn about phone canvassing and get in touch with members and supporters across Barnsley, Penistone and Stocksbridge.
Sheffield City Council - Stocksbridge and Upper Don Ward
It is a privilege to be elected to represent and serve Stocksbridge and Upper Don ward. I thank everyone who voted for me, including those who possibly had not voted Conservative before.
We will have the pleasure of an evening with Stuart Andrew MP for Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough and the Minister for Defence Procurement at the Ministry of Defence.
Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council - Penistone East Ward
Councillor Robert Barnard was first elected to Barnsley Council in 2006 representing the Penistone East Ward. He was born in Barnsley and has always lived in the area – his father worked in the coal industry and his mother was a teacher. He is Chairman of the Penistone Area Council and Penistone Ward Alliance. He has served on the Audit Committee since 2009 and since 2008 has been one of the Council’s representatives on the Management Committee of the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation. He is one of the Trustees of the Penistone School Trust.
Recognising that innovations are not always improvements he supports local people in their efforts to preserve the traditional character of their communities and the rural way of life.
